We’ve answered some of the more common questions we receive below.
Will the Familoo fit my toilet?
The Familoo fits most standard toilets. The fitting holes on your pan, measured at the widest point need to be no more than 185mm apart (18.5cm). We stock 3 variations of fittings to cater for different widths of fitting holes, 2 of which ship as standard with each seat. For full specifications and measurements click here.
How much is shipping?
We offer a flat rate shipping charge of $11.95 for 1 seat or $15.95 for orders of 2 or 3 seats. For larger orders please contact us at email@example.com
Please note that we are unable to ship to PO Boxes.
How long does delivery take?
Familoo ships from Sydney and delivery times will depend on the delivery address. We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 business days and will provide shipping details to our customers once orders are shipped.
Is the Familoo soft-close?
Yes, the lid and adult seat both have the soft close feature. The child seat is on a different hinge and is not soft close however it is lightweight to avoid any nasty trapped finger incidents!
Does the Familoo fit blind fixing toilets?
Yes, the fittings supplied with the Familoo cater for both blind and standard fitting toilets.
What can I do if I've ordered the wrong fittings?
Don’t panic! We offer 3 types of fittings and stock spare sets. If, for example, you order your Familoo with Standard fittings and then realise you should have ordered Narrow Top you can order a set of narrow top fittings in our store ($9.95 which includes shipping). For any other spare part requirements please drop us an email and we’ll do our best to help you!
What material is the Familoo made from?
The Familoo is made from strong, durable PP (Polypropene). This gives a sturdy seat which is anti-static, scratch-proof and toddler-proof!
Is the Familoo easy to install?
Yes! The Familoo is very easy to fit with only a Philips head screwdriver required to complete the job. You can have your new family toilet seat installed in minutes. For full fitting instructions click here.
If I move can I take my Familoo with me?
Yes, the Familoo is easy to install and remove. If you are moving to a new place you can take your Familoo with you.
Do you accept International orders?
At this time we regret we do not accept orders for delivery outside of Australia.
What is your returns policy?
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not happy with your purchase please contact us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
If you wish to request a refund or exchange then please note the following conditions:
- You must first contact us at email@example.com to provide your details and inform us of the reason for your request.
- The Familoo must be returned to us within 30 days of the purchase date at your expense.
- The Familoo must be in its original packaging, be undamaged and unused. If the seat has been installed (or installation has been attempted) then, for obvious hygiene reasons, we regret that we will be unable to issue a refund.
We strongly recommend that you are comfortable that the Familoo will fit your toilet before ordering. Please see here for details and if you have any questions contact us – we’re here to help! Once returned we will refund the cost of your purchase less postage costs. With the rare exception of faulty products, Familoos are returned at your cost and risk.
Note: We reserve the right to refuse a refund/exchange request if the original seat is not returned in its original packaging, undamaged and unused.
What if my Familoo is faulty?
We want you to be delighted with your purchase. In the unlikely event that your Familoo is faulty please contact us within 7 days of receipt at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
If you have a faulty product we will provide a full refund or exchange at no additional cost to you.
